Setlist.fm import
The primary source. Encord imports setlists from setlist.fm, which are crowd-sourced setlists submitted by concert-goers worldwide. Coverage is strongest for major touring artists in North America and Europe.
Community contributions
Encord users can submit corrections and additions through the Contributions system. Every suggestion goes through a review process before being applied — no contribution directly overwrites source data without review.
What is not included
Streaming data, ticket sales, social metrics, or chart positions are not used. Encord only tracks what is performed live on stage, based on actual setlist reports.
High confidence
20+ shows tracked, 70%+ of shows have song data, and 100+ songs indexed. Analytics like trending tracks, frequency stats, and setlist evolution are reliable at this coverage level.
Medium confidence
5+ shows tracked with at least 40% song coverage and 20+ songs indexed. Trends are directionally useful but may not reflect the artist's full live output.
Low confidence
Some song data exists but coverage is sparse. Use these figures as a rough indicator only — missing shows may significantly affect any ranking or trend.
Limited data
The artist has tracked shows but no song data yet, or has fewer shows than the threshold. Analytics are unavailable or unreliable at this level.
·A show is considered "tracked" when at least one song has been imported for that setlist.
·Shows with no song data appear in event counts but are excluded from song-level analytics.
·Placeholder tracks (rows with an ID but no song name) are excluded from all analytics.
·Coverage percentages are based on shows in our database. Shows that were never imported or discovered are not counted.
·Coverage is typically higher for headlining shows than support or festival slots, which are often less documented.
·Encord does not guarantee accuracy. All setlist data is crowd-sourced and subject to human error.
